In 2014, FuturePerfekt began work on a custom website for Arkitektura, a contemporary, European design showroom in San Francisco and Detroit. During our now three-year relationship, we were also asked to collaborate, develop and design a custom WordPress theme to showcase and unify news and announcements, as well as high-profile events featuring world-renowned designers, including graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister, product designer Sebastian Herkner, architect and designer Mario Bellini, artist and furniture designer Jaime Hayon, designer and technologist John Maeda and designer Tom Dixon. Integrating multiple forms of content and media, such as slideshows, interviews, product spotlights and podcasts, the end result—Arkitektura Assembly—is a unified multimedia website that provides an intuitive user experience that’s as elegant as it is seamless across multiple screens. The showrooms also now enjoy quantifiable repeat traffic and deeper customer engagement.
FuturePerfekt continues to work closely with Arkitektura Assembly to update and refine the theme to meet the ever-evolving needs of it and its customers.
